Author and elementary school teacher Julie Lake picture walks us through the art of Zhu Cheng-Liang for Yu Li Qiong’s picture book A New Year’s Reunion (Candlewick Press) after reading books to the second graders on her elementary school campus.
She also examines the popular Squirrel’s New Year’s Resolution

Illustrator Cheng-Liang graduated from the fine arts department of the Nanjing Arts Institute. He has illustrated picture books and comic books published in China. He lives in Nanjing.
